Use of Mobile Technology for Community Health in Madagascar

The Minitry of Public Health implemented a mobile health project supported by the USAID-funded Mikolo Project in Madagascar.

This pilot project showed promising results and the scale-up phase (550 additional users) is scheduled for early January 2018 with support of grant funding secured by Management Sciences for Health (MSH) through Google’s NetHope Device Challenge 2017.

The mHealth project is the result of a successful public-private partnership between the Malagasy Government, the USAID Mikolo project, Dimagi and the Telma Foundation.
