Seattle’s Space Needle raises the bar with new technology

The Seattle Space Needle was built as the centerpiece of the 1962 World’s Fair, featuring technologies of the future including touch-tone dialing and satellite transmissions. But now, the Space Needle is trying to make sure the original vision of the future doesn’t get stuck in the past. Ben Tracy looks at how the landmark is getting an upgrade for the digital age.
